Caveat Emptor- This short poems are nothing but words of my imagination and have no link to any man born of woman. Just enjoy it and don’t attribute meanings it was not meant to convey to it.

is friendship by force?

she said:

is friendship by force

so I withdrew into my cocoon

to treat the heart she had lanced with her piercing words.

then she had a need

that only Mufasa could settle

she came back

i said:

is friendship by force

sent her off

but I still went home to cry .

Lost Heart

how can i love you

when I can’t find my heart

I gave it to you

but you lost it when you met miss curvy waist and luscious lips

how can i love you

when I can’t find my heart.

Pieces of you.

i don’t have a problem forgetting you

it’s the ghosts of your presence that give me the the scare

months after you left for the weekend and never came back

there were still pieces of you scattered in various corners of my dwellings

your shaving stick, one leg of shoe, a piece of stinking socks

reminders of how naive I was to have trusted someone who was leaving me one piece at a time.

Hole in my heart.

you are the sinkhole in my heart

a big void I failed but still trying to cover

i keep pouring relationships into it

but the deep hole never fills

you may stay in my heart, but you won’t stay in my life

the hole in my heart

painfully unforgettable.

Maybe I am dead.

maybe its my heart that is dead

but how dead am i

i cannot say

your hurtful words and actions

hits nothing

means nothing

i don’t even hate you

neither do I love you

i know i am supposed to hate you and your miss hips and lips

strangely i feel nothing

because you are nothing

because I may be dead and don’t know it yet.

To read another poem Parable of my tears

Does any of this resonate with you. Have you experience that ‘no feeling, when you ought to feel something syndrome” while entangled in a relationship? Talk to me somebody in the comments section. But don’t reveal too much to avoid controversy. You never know who may read this someday.

Till next time.
