I have a dream
That tomorrow shall be greater than today
The Luther in me is awaken
Madiba never gave up.
My hope for a new beginning
My escape from the vortex of darksomeness
The tomorrow I live in my today.
My garment of hope
Sewn with the thread of expectation
Worn as an air cover from the bombing of gloomy thoughts
When the achings of my past naivete assail me.
The circuitous traverse in the cavernous places is over
Going somewhere whilst going nowhere has ended
I am no longer lost in the maze of despondency
Where I wandered, wondered and suffered needlessly.
Houdini has broken the chains of restrainment
He has been teleported from the painful now
I am back to the future
Dreaming and doing is the name of my game.
Without a dream, you are bereft of life
It’s like playing Romeo without a Juliet
What is the fun in watching Tom without Jerry
No Rambo, no 1st blood.
The wheels of success are spinning
I advance daily ignoring the wind, the dust and the rain
I overcome them by God, passion, and hard work
The Conductor has taken charge of his orchestra.
What is your dream?
What is your life purpose?
What makes you passionate?
What has this Poem stirred in you or reminded you of.
Endless questions that require answers.
