Spend the last be with JESUS

Even if you see yourself as one of the many reflections in the mirror of life
Passerby’s that the reflecting glass do not reckon with
Just another average “Joe or Jane“ hastening to God knows where
Let the last be WITH JESUS.

Even if you don’t pray that much
You’ve had it with the “old-time religion“
After all, “all the preacher wants is an offering”
Make sure your last minute is in reconciliation with Jesus.

Even if refuse to laugh today
Because all you have left gives you no hope for tomorrow
The rivers of succour have all dried up
Make sure the last bread you break is with Jesus.

So that was your last hug
Your heart is all broken and mangled
You need to meet with the fixer of hearts
Hug Jesus and see the broken pieces made whole again.

I learnt from whom I never met
A big lesson from an IJESHA Woman of God who was reported always praying “Jesus let me see you before I see death”
Her prayer was wonderfully answered the granddaughter told me
“Before I lie down the last time, Lord, let me see you before I die”.

To read another prosetry I was lost.

Yes, long life and prosperity with good health is our portion in Jesus name. But the truth is, there will be a “last day, time, minute” etc for all of us. My prayer is that “may that last DAY, be a Divine appointment with HIM” so that all matters will be straightened out as it happened to the thief on the cross. What do you say?
