The hardest war to fight is not the war between nations. It’s the war with the one you love. No matter how long it takes. Its a painful experience for all the parties involved. Let’s make peace instead of war. Let us love and reject hate. Admit it if you are wrong. Saying sorry converts battlegrounds to healing grounds. Let love prevail.
Enjoy the Poem.
Love
I hate the space that comes in between us when we fight
That intangibility that turns lovers into gladiators
Slashing each other with swords made out of painful hurts and thoughts
Our nest is like an abattoir, the blood of love splattered all over.
She is near, but the drawbridge has been pulled up
The space is a moat I dare not traverse Wounded emotions made us to drift to opposite sides of the love river
A man is weeping, he thinks he is laughing.
Love
I am pretending to have fun playing music on my headphones
She is laughing loudly, chatting away on her Iphone
I am wrong, but pride says I am right
A man is losing, he thinks he is gaining.

It’s dawn again and I must put on my mask
It’s my ego assigned role in maintaining “the space”
It says “I don’t care”, even though I care
A man is dying but he thinks he is living.
I have made pride my counselor
I have drawn inspiration from my delusions
“Stand your ground you are a man” , the stranger keeps saying
A man is being foolish he thinks he is wise.
So take the mask off and love again
Stop looking for who is wrong or right in the land of love
What does it profit a man if he is right and loses his beloved Romeo’s life is meaningless without the kisses of Juliet.
Roses don’t have to be red and violets don’t have to be blue
As long as you are in love with me and I am in love with you
What’s wrong with saying I am sorry to the one you love
It’s supposed to be a marriage, not a duel.
SELAH.

Keeping distance from our loved ones is very painful, when at it, we usually think we are having fun without knowing what we are hindering ourselves from
May God help us as we drop hate and embrace love in Jesus glorified name Amen.

Love is really the greatest healer. Where there is love, peace reigns.
