Charmed by the sky

Something changed in the Sky that caused a dull day to suddenly transform and become a very beautiful day. Hear what happened. After my afternoon nap, I woke up, stepped outside and looked up to behold the most beautiful multicoloured sky I have ever seen. I mean indescribable beauty at its best. If you have witnessed a candy coloured sky you will appreciate what I am talking about. A few weeks later, memory and inspiration began its work in me from which I wrote this poem to keep the memory of that day alive. I hope you like it.

Dear Sky, you seem all dressed up this evening

Your face is all painted and colorfully beautiful

I see multicolored clouds joyfully flowing into one another unhindered

Is there a party happening in Eternity?

Is there a party in heaven

I am spellbound by the naturalness of your beauty

I can smell the fragrance of your colors on the earth

What perfume are you wearing

What are the heavens celebrating?

Charmed by the Sky

The hills are all drenched in the rain of your hues

The waters reflect your colorful spells back to the heavens

The whole of creation is charmed by your radiance

There has to be a party going on in Eternity.

Charmed by the Sky

Your beauty has given life to dead twigs

Fallen leaves and crushed petals have recaptured their gorgeousness

Nature screams with delight as the rainbow scribbles its majestic signature across the sky

There is a party going on in Eternity.

Charmed by the Sky

Like wolves howling at the moon

Sharks agitated by blood

Lovers now throng the streets like thirsty zombies

Titillating love poured out by the beautiful colors of the Sky.

Lovers troop out

I crave for a secluded island

Where nature paints its art on the canvas of creation unhindered

Where the sky etches it’s colorful graffitis on the flowing walls of the waters

Where playful dolphins, scented flowers and coconuts rule.

Colored waters

Oh, how I would have filled my hands with colored waters

I would then pour watery beauty on my body and watch it roll elegantly off my skin

Then I would sit entranced watching the golden hour mutate into the blue hour

Till I float away into the sky dancing with the Auroras.
